Power button: To turn your Kindle on, press the Power button located on the bottom edge. You need to learn only a few controls to use your Kindle. Once you have completed the setup process, Set Up Your Kindle will no longer appear on your Home screen. If you have enabled Sign in Approval, you will need to enter your passcode followed by the security code sent to your phone when you register the device. On the Settings page, tap Your Account, then Register/Deregister Device. To register a Kindle that has been previously registered, open the Quick Actions menu, then tap All Settings.
